John Koenig, Former US Ambassador to Cyprus
John M. Koenig retired from the U.S. Foreign Service as Ambassador to Cyprus in 2015, having earlier held senior diplomatic positions in Germany and with NATO. He served as American Consul General in Thessaloniki from 2000 to 2003, and as Deputy Political Counselor at the Embassy in Athens from 1997 to 2000.
Ambassador Koenig is a member of the Honorary Board of Advisors at the Dukakis Center.
